You just want to know you’re doing enough

You sign them up because they love the game.

You drive them to practice. You cheer from the sidelines.
You support, encourage, and hope they’re learning what they need to succeed.

But somewhere along the way, what you’re supposed to do next gets… confusing.

You know your child has potential.
But you start to wonder:

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Is my child actually improving? Are they getting lost in the mix?
Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Are they building confidence or just feeling pressured?

Is this still fun for us!?

The truth is:

Youth soccer is crowded, fast-paced, and often focused on
winning today instead of developing players for tomorrow.

Β

That’s the gap Limitless Coaching was built to close.

Β

Pro-level experience. Kid-first environment. Home-turf advantage.

World-class coaching without the big-city commute β€” designed for young players, right here in Woodstock.

Β

At Limitless Coaching, young players train with coaches who’ve competed at the highest levels β€” and who understand how to translate that experience into purposeful, age-appropriate development.

Β

We’re not here to pressure kids or turn every player into a pro.

Β

We’re here to teach fundamentals properly, build confidence alongside skill, and help young athletes understand the game β€” not just play it.

Β

Our approach:

  • Individualized coaching plans (no cookie-cutter sessions)
  • Real-time feedback that builds confidence, not intimidation
  • Small groups and 1-on-1 sessions where players get personlized encouragement and attention
  • Position-specific training and tactical understanding
  • A space where effort is valued and mistakes are part of learning

This isn’t about more reps. It’s about the right reps β€” at the right time, with the right support.

Meet your Coaches

Iain Hume – Co-Founder & Technical Director

Β

Iain spent 15+ years playing professional soccer at the highest levels β€” from England’s leagues to the Indian Super League, earning over 40 caps for Team Canada along the way.

But after retiring and moving back to Ontario,
he realized something:
the best coaching isn’t about replicating what worked for pros,
It’s about translating that experience into lessons the next generation of soccer players can actually absorb, enjoy, and use.

Β

The credentials:

  • 🍁 40+ appearances for Team Canada
  • ⚽ Professional career across England, Spain, and India
  • πŸ† UEFA / Canada A Licensed Coach | Canadian/CONCACAF A Diploma
  • πŸ’ͺ Came back from a game-ending head fracture that redefined how he thinks about player safety, development, and resilience

Currently coaching:

  • 🎯 Head Coach, Woodstock FC
  • 🎯 Woodstock Premier Division Head Coach (WOSL)

Why he’s here:
After his playing career ended, Iain worked as a TV pundit before moving back to Ontario in 2020. But after years of seeing how youth development was handled at the highest levels, he knew he wanted to coach differently β€” with patience, purpose, and a focus on building players for the long term, not just the next game.

Limitless was born from that belief: That young players deserve coaching that respects both their potential and their pace β€” and that world-class development shouldn’t require a big-city commute.

When he’s not coaching:
Iain has a very unique pre-game ritual: clips his toenails, wraps his big toes, and eats exactly three slices of bread folded into mini-sandwiches. Superstition or discipline? He’s not telling. But the results speak for themselves.
He’s also convinced that the best post-training snack is whatever the kids are most excited about that day.

Stuart Hume β€” Co-Founder & Lead Coach

Β

Stu has been coaching soccer for over 25 years β€” since he was 19 years old β€” and his track record speaks for itself.

As Head Coach of Woodstock’s Women’s OSL team, he led his squad to a 15-1 record and the LAWSL Elite Division Championship. He also serves as Assistant Coach for Woodstock Men’s WOSL and works with the U16 Boys EMDSL program β€” all while co-founding and leading Limitless Coaching.

But what sets Stu apart isn’t just winning β€” it’s how he develops players to win while building confidence, technical skill, and a genuine love for the game.

At Limitless, Stu brings that same intentional approach to youth development. Whether he’s working with a first-time rep player or coaching elite competitive teams, his philosophy stays the same: meet players where they are, build foundations that last, and make every session count.

The credentials:

  • ⚽ 25+ years of coaching experience (youth through elite competitive levels β€” coaching since age 19)
  • πŸ† Provincial C License Trained Coach
  • ⚽ 35 years of playing experience
  • πŸ’ͺ Overcame a serious back injury that taught him resilience, patience, and how to support players through setbacks β€” lessons he brings to every player he coaches

Currently coaching:

  • 🎯 Head Coach, Woodstock Women’s OSL
  • πŸ† LAWSL Elite Division Champion (15-1 record, 2024-25 season)
  • 🎯 Assistant Coach, Woodstock Men’s WOSL
  • 🎯 U16 Boys EMDSL Trainer

Why he’s here:
Stu moved to Woodstock from Brampton years ago and immediately loved the small-town feel and tight-knit soccer community. He also noticed something: talented young players who didn’t have access to high-level coaching without driving hours to the city. So he and Iain built Limitless β€” bringing pro-level development to local athletes, with the kind of personal attention that only happens in a place like this.

When he’s not coaching:
You’ll find Stu trying to break down game film while his Newfie-Doodles Ludo and Finn demand attention (they’re convinced they’re assistant coaches), or staying late to work on “just one more drill” with a player who’s this close to a breakthrough.
Some of his former players are now coaching their own kids β€” which he’s decided to take as a compliment, not a sign he’s getting old.

Meet the Coaching Team:

Malachi Morris

MALACHI MORRIS β€” COACH

Malachi brings energy, precision, and a player-first mentality to every session at Limitless. A Fanshawe College Soccer alum and current Assistant Captain of Woodstock FC's Premier Team, Malachi knows what it takes to compete at a high level β€” and how to break down those lessons for younger players in a way that clicks. With 4 years of coaching experience and his Learn to Train certification, Malachi specializes in helping players build confidence through technical mastery and smart decision-making.

When he's not coaching: Malachi's probably on the field himself β€” still competing, still learning, still proving that the best coaches never stop being students of the game.

Bobby McCutchen

BOBBY MCCUTCHEN β€” COACH

Bobby has a knack for making hard work feel like fun β€” which might be why his U10 rep team went 11-4 in league play and 6-0 across three festivals this season, finishing second in a sanctioned tournament under the Limitless FC banner. With 6 years of coaching experience, Learn to Train/Soccer for Life certifications, and a background as a certified personal trainer, Bobby focuses on building young players' fundamentals while keeping the game engaging, challenging, and joyful. He's a Woodstock FC coach and currently plays for the Woodstock FC Masters 3rd Division team, so he understands the game from both sides of the whistle. He believes development happens best when players feel supported, not pressured β€” and his results prove it.

When he's not coaching: Bobby practically lives at Brickhouse Brewpub (where yes, everyone knows him) but you'll also find him at home going over game strategies with his massive German Shepherd, Obe, who's convinced he could coach better if Bobby would just let him on the field.

Paul Lewis

PAUL LEWIS β€” COACH

Paul brings serious pedigree and a deep understanding of player development to Limitless. A former Team Canada Youth National Team and Team Ontario Provincial player, Paul knows firsthand what high-level development looks like β€” and what it takes to get there. Now, with 7 years of coaching experience and certifications in Learn to Train and Soccer for Life (plus a Provincial C License in training), he's focused on helping the next generation reach their potential. Paul also coaches at Scrosoppi FC and Sankofa FC, working with players at multiple levels and bringing a well-rounded perspective to every session.

When he's not coaching: Paul's probably analyzing game footage, refining drills, or quietly perfecting the art of making complex tactics feel simple.

Andrew Docherty

ANDREW DOCHERTY β€” COACH

Andrew brings leadership, discipline, and a firefighter's calm under pressure to every session at Limitless. A former Captain of Woodstock FC's Premier Team and former Head Coach of the U16 Boys iModel squad, Andrew knows what it takes to lead β€” both on and off the field. With certifications in Soccer for Life and a Provincial C License in the works, he's focused on helping young players develop the skills, composure, and confidence to compete at higher levels. Andrew is a Lambton College Soccer alum who now works as a firefighter in Nunavut β€” but he makes the trip home every summer to coach at Limitless camps, bringing the same focus and commitment he applies to everything he does.

When he's not coaching: Andrew's either on duty as a firefighter in Nunavut β€” one of the most remote places in Canada β€” or making the long trip home to Woodstock, because no matter how far he goes, he can't stay away from the game (or the people) for long.

A space built for serious development

Limitless operates out of a dedicated indoor turf facility designed specifically for player development β€” plus access to full-sized indoor and outdoor fields for team sessions and camps.

What this means for your player:

  • Consistent, controlled training environment (no weather cancellations, no shared space distractions, more availability)
  • Real-time pro-feedback from coaches without overcrowding
  • Professional-grade surface for technical work and conditioning
  • A space that feels focused, intentional, and built for improvement

This isn’t just a place to practice.
It’s a place where players can focus, coaches can teach effectively, and development happens with purpose.

What parents notice when their child trains with Limitless

  • βœ“ Better decision-making on the field
  • βœ“ Increased confidence in games
  • βœ“ Stronger understanding of positioning and movement
  • βœ“ And most importantly β€” kids who enjoy soccer more, not less

Here's what parents have told us:

"Three months ago, Carson started working with Iain and Stu, and the impact has been really special. The growth has been clear, but even more meaningful is how Carson has been seen, challenged, and genuinely believed in. That kind of environment makes a difference. The standard Iain and Stu bring shows up in both what they teach and how they model it. It creates a space where hard work is exciting and development feels natural, rooted in real care. Grateful for the experience and the positive impact it has had on Carson."

β€” Ian Dowding, Carson's Dad (2012 OPDL player)

The difference individualized coaching makes adds up β€” session by session, season by season.
